Samuel Uche is a PhD student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, MA, USA. His research work at Clinical AI Research (CARE) labs, is an intersection of Deep learning, Machine Learning, AI, Clinical data, alcohol and marijuana impairment detection and Healthcare.He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Nigeria and a Master’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. His research work involves the application of deep learning models to analyze smartphone sensor human gait data for alcohol intoxication detection. A passionate technology enthusiast, he is the founder of two non-profits – BrainsOverSexuality International and Next Generation Technology Support Foundation. He is the winner of the MTNF Science and Technology Scholarship (2014-2017), WNE FTI Fintech Fellowship and NSBE Boston Scholarships. On his spare time, you would find him volunteering, compering events, watching documentaries and playing football.
