Jun Kajee

Board Member

Jun is a lecturer and adjunct faculty member at Ling Tung University (Taiwan), where he teaches courses on Academic Writing, Intercultural Communication and English Proficiency Test Preparation. Jun also serves as the assistant director for academic affairs at Living Word Lutheran High School, responsible for developing and maintaining the American school’s international academic cooperation efforts in Asia and beyond.

Jun has authored articles on topics such as bilingual education in Asia, language teaching practice and cross-straits relations, serving as an editor for the Journal of Management & Business (MABIS) and editorial assistant for the Journal of Research and Innovation in Higher Education (JRIHE).

A graduate of the University of London (LSE), he has conducted higher education research at University for Continuing Education Krems (Austria), Tampere University (Finland), Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and Beijing Normal University (China) as part of the European Union’s Erasmus Mundus initiative.

Adhoc consulting and guest lecturing assignments have included roles at Hanoi Open University Faculty of Law, National Chung Cheng University Graduate Institute of Linguistics, Sony Semiconductor Japan and TSMC. Jun has also collaborated with The United Nations SDSN, Salzburg Global Seminar, Erasmus Mundus Association (as their Country Representative for Taiwan), Taiwan’s Institute for Information Industry and Foreign Teachers (Canada), amongst others.

Jun is passionate about strengthening the community of African scholars and academics abroad as part of the wider movement to promote African developmental interests on the global agenda.
