Jun Kajee
Board Member
Jun Kajee is an educator with academic interests spanning internationalization, maritime affairs and education for sustainable development. He is a Professor at Stanton University, a Lecturer at Southern Utah University and a Global Schools Advocate at the Sustainable Development Solutions Network under the auspices of the United Nations.
Jun also holds research positions at the Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy, the Indo-Pacific Studies Center, and the SeaLight maritime transparency initiative at Stanford University’s Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation. His research has received funding from the European Commission and the United States Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, amongst others.
As the Director of Ocean College, Jun is affiliated to the educational interventions of Media For Change, a Miami-based 501(c)(3) organization seeking to promote environmental conservation by engaging young hearts and minds with the awe and wonder of the ocean. Jun also serves as the Director for Global Initiatives at the International Culture and Education Association, a Taiwan-based non-profit dedicated to advancing educational equity and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Jun’s previous international consulting and guest lecturing assignments have included roles at Bethesda University Anaheim, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, University of Surabaya, Hanoi Open University Faculty of Law, National Chung Cheng University Graduate Institute of Linguistics, Sony Semiconductor Japan and TSMC.
Jun is an Editor at the Journal of Management and Business and a Columnist at Business Day. His work has been featured extensively in the media—garnering acclaim from outlets such as Newsweek, The Economic Times, Nationwide News Australia, CommonWealth Magazine and The Institute for the Study of Diplomacy.
