Submission deadlines
Skoltech has 11 Master’s programs. Each program considers applications for competitive selection in several waves before the final deadline (July 10, 2023).
But please remember: the longer you wait, the more competitive it becomes. So we recommend submitting your application for competitive selection as soon as possible.
1 wave for all* the Master’s programs ➔ the application deadline is March 13, 2023.
* except the Mathematical and Theoretical Physics program ➔ the application deadline is May 29, 2023.
When applying for a program, choose it according to your interests, knowledge and skills.
How to submit your application
Create an account on apply.skoltech.ru. Then, check your email for your login information and your password. This login will allow you to return to the system as many times as you need to before submitting the application for competitive selection. Check your spam folder if you don’t see the email.
Fill out your personal information — full name, date of birth, location, citizenship and everything else the form will ask you. There are a lot of details, make sure to pay attention and double-check everything.
The form will ask you for your photo — please upload a professional headshot, not something you’ve taken at the beach.
If you are ready to upload your resume/CV, motivation letter, diplomas and/or transcripts, and English language test results, feel free to do so.
We recommend starting with recommendation letters to give the reviewers enough time. If you have already talked to your professors and/or work mentor about letters of recommendation, you can request them via the ‘blind recommendation’ option or upload a scan of the letter with the recommender’s full contact information listed in the letter.
You will be able to submit the application for competitive selection only after all required documents are uploaded, including the letters of recommendation. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
Aaaand you’ve done it! The next step will be to take the online test. It will be conducted on an exam date. Please hold tight and wait for an email from the admissions team with more information on your exam, login information and rules.
